Jelen írásban a szerző a devizahiteles kérdés szélesebb kontextusban való bemutatása után sorra veszi mindazon fontosabb intézkedéseket, amelyeket a 2010–2025 között regnáló kormány tett a devizahitelezés mint sokrétű problémakör megoldása érdekében. A cikkben elsősorban a jog-összehasonlítás és dokumentumelemzés módszerét alkalmazva tárgyaljuk ezen kérdéseket. Kitérünk az olyan közvetetten ide kapcsolódó, de nagy jelentőséggel bíró kérdésekre is, mint a magáncsőd intézménye vagy a pénzügyi edukáció kérdésköre. Röviden kitérünk a V4-országcsoport másik három tagjára is, amelyekben a devizahiteles kérdés bár létezik, de a helyzet eltérő a magyarországi állapotoktól.

In this paper, after presenting the issue of foreign-currency loans in a broader context, the authors review the most important measures taken by the Hungarian government and the central bank between 2010 and 2025 in order to solve the multilayered problem of foreign-currency loans. The article primarily uses comparative law and document analysis to discuss these issues. We also touch on indirectly related but highly significant issues such as the institution of personal bankruptcy and financial literacy. We also briefly discuss the other three members of the V4 countries, where the issue of foreign currency-loans also exists, however, the situation differs from that in Hungary.
